THE ACER 7 CROMEBOOK

The acer 7 cromebook by google is a cheap laptop as from his starting price which is $199 but you can expect that if it is a google’s product, it will for sure increase the prize at least 5 to 10$.

But this is a Chromebook, a thing that runs Google's Chrome OS - essentially replacing the entire notion of an operating system with a web browser.
And while the Chromebooks that we've reviewed before, such as its predecessor, the Samsung Series 3, and the Samsung Series 5, are configured differently and feel different to traditional laptops, this new C7 Chromebook from Acer seems to have been designed, consciously or not, to look and to feel as traditionally laptop-like as possible.

In doing so, though, some of whatever magic the Chromebook concept has seems to have been lost.
Chrome OS is different to the operating systems that most of us are familiar with, such as Windows 8 or Mac OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion. You can't just install apps you have and you know, such as Microsoft Office or Adobe Photoshop Elements; everything's done through the Chrome web browser.
That might strike you as limiting, and in a way it is, but if you think about what you actually use a computer for, there's a good chance that you either essentially do everything through a web browser now anyway - Gmail, Facebook, iPlayer and so on - or that those jobs that you currently use regular programs for could easily be switched to web apps.

It's worth remembering that Google's own suite of web apps - notably its word processor and spreadsheet apps - are actually very capable, and in any case add collaboration tools that mean it's easy for teams to work together.

It sounds like you need to be connected to the web at all times, therefore, to actually use a Chromebook, but that's not always the case. Web apps can actually be programmed to work offline using local storage.
Google documents and spreadsheets can do this, happily switching between online and offline mode (once it's enabled), and no matter how hard we tried, we couldn't get it to lose a scrap of work.

That said, the fact that the Acer C7 Chromebook doesn't currently even have the option of a model with a SIM slot for mobile broadband - 3G or the like - is baffling.
Sure, your home, work, campus, favourite coffee shop and so on probably have free, fast Wi-Fi, and the robust offline mode of some web apps means that even if you don't have an internet connection, your Chromebook isn't a useless lump of plastic. But not even to offer 3G as an option seems daft.

iPhone 5 vs SAMSUNG GALAXY S3:brand vs brawn

The products created by Samsung, especially the galaxy series, judged in UK are known as more cool products there. Samsung beat Apple to the top spot in Q3 of 2011 when they got a 20% slice of the worldwide sales pie, compared to Apple who got 14.5%.
This was according to research undertaken by IDC. In Q3 of 2012, Samsung have surged ahead with 31.3% against the 15% of Apple. A lot of this is thanks to the Samsung Galaxy S3 which has hit 30 million in sales already. In fact, a recent report showed that 4 of the 5 best sales weeks that the Samsung Galaxy S3 has had since its launch happened right after the iPhone 5 was unveiled. That says a lot.

Perceptions of the two brand names could not be any more different. Apple is seen to be the innovator, who is able to re-invent markets with their single and very stylish product that has fans flocking with devotion, if they can afford it.

Samsung on the other hand picks up ideas and refines them with efficiency and then send them out in a wide product range which are affordable to both high and low end users.

Apple is surrounded by hysteria when they launch a new iPhone and this shows that they are able to generate excitement that Samsung have not.

It was the design muscle that ironically saw Apple lose one of the patent fights against Samsung when a judge in the UK said that the Galaxy Tab tablet was simply not cool enough for consumers to get it confused with the iPad from Apple.

While the name of copycats may stick to Samsung like glue, there is good business to be had from it, according to analyst Kevin Restivo. He says that if you are a fast follower you can get on the path to number one, and Samsung are proof of that.

The majority of analysts say that there are two key factors behind the success of Samsung in what is a competitive market, by embracing the Android OS and the high to low end market strategy. The Samsung Galaxy S3 for instance has both the Galaxy Premier and Galaxy S3 Mini.

By doing this they have been able to concentrate just on hardware and they have beaten Nokia and Blackberry who have kept their own OS. With Samsung being able to commandeer Android and got it going in the right direction, they were able to make dents in all of the opposition.

Samsung have been able to put high end flagship handsets such as the Galaxy S3 up against the recently launched iPhone 5. Despite the device’s age, it hasn’t been faltered by new releases from other Android device manufacturers either.

There are many consumers who cannot afford to buy iPhone as well. A recent report showed that the iPhone 5 is comanding price tags as high as $850 (contract free) for the 16GB model, while the Samsung Galaxy S3 16GB has already slipped to around $550.

Apple is stuck with just one handset each year, which gives them a higher profit margin than the product range of Samsung. However in the long run this will have them falling behind faster than Samsung when it comes to introducing new innovations.

While Samsung have taken market shares, Apple are still the leaders in overall profits in the smartphone sector.

The strength of Samsung lies in hardware, while Apple has its iconic iPhone brand and design that it has built up steadily since 2007 to what we see today. The powers are not going to switch hands so fast and we may see this Galaxy S3 vs iPhone 5 battle carry on to their successors for years to come.

On an overall level, the game Bad Piggies is considered to be far more challenging as compared to its predecessor Angry Birds. Most of the online reviews of Bad piggies state that its easy to move aheals in levels in Angry Birds as compared to Bad Piggies game and this makes the game even more challenging and well liked.

The plot of the game Bad Piggies is more of a race. If you decide on playing this game, then the first thing that you are required to do is assemble your vehicle. Once you are through with this you will be required to load the piggies in the vehicle.

When you happen to play this game, the only goal in your mind should be to cross the finish line with all your piggies and ofcourse with an intact vehicle. When in the race you will be required to pick up star boxes on your way. Based upon the manner in which you finish the race you will be awarded with stars.

For example, if your vehicle breaks down, but your piggie crosses the finish line then, you will win one star. On the other hand, if your vehicle remains intact, but only one piggie crosses the finish line then, you will win two stars. Similarly, if your vehicle remains intact and so also most of your piggies cross the finish line then, you will be rewarded with three stars.
Apart from this, the time that will be taken by you in order to finish the race will also be taken into consideration. All in all, the game Bad Piggies comes across as a highly appealing game that is likely to keep you glued to your seats
